Theodore Wirth Park is home to an extraordinary urban forest, two world class golf courses, incredible skyline views, a lush wildflower garden, and a serene lake.
The Wirth Pavilion, one of the MPRB's historic treasures, has undergone a vast face lift, including new restrooms, restored interior/exterior finishes, and new wiring and HVAC systems making this a year-round facility. It features vaulted ceilings, two beautiful screened porches, exposed beams and a large wood burning fireplace. Additional amenities include a large multimedia screen, tables and chairs.
The Pavilion is equipped with a catering prep space, a serving area with electrical outlets for hot dish serving. There is no food catering restrictions.
According to MPRB Ordinance PB2-17. No person or entity shall serve, dispense or consume any alcohol on park property except as specifically authorized herein. Special Alcohol, Beer and Wine Permit approval and Licensing can be directed to 612-230-6400.
Free parking for the Pavilion is conveniently located at the bottom of the hill at the Wirth Beach House across the street. A service road is accessible for deliveries, drop-offs, shuttling and handicapped parking.
