Additional improvements under construction at Folwell Park

Work on additional improvements is underway at Folwell Park, after Park Board approval of a construction contract on March 4.

Improvements include:

• Rehabilitation of the tennis courts
• Path connecting the courts, the playground installed last fall and the recreation center
• Lighting for the west athletic field

Please stay out of the fenced construction area and follow the detour signs for pedestrians, as needed.

The project is expected to be complete in Fall 2020, barring delays due to construction, weather, or other unanticipated situations.
